Dean is a general registered psychologist who holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours), a Master of Professional Psychology, and a Master of Clinical Psychology.   He is currently working towards clinical endorsement and sees clients over 18 years of age. 

Dean views psychology as a meaningful way to help people navigate the complexities of the human condition across all stages of life.   He works with adults of all ages, genders, and cultural backgrounds, supporting clients in understanding the origins of their suffering and moving toward healing with clarity and compassion.   His therapeutic style is integrative, warm, and collaborative, tailoring treatment to each client's individual needs and goals.   He provides services under Medicare, WorkCover Queensland, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), injury insurance schemes, and private health insurance.

Dean draws from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based therapies, parts work, and psychoeducation. He provides services under Medicare, WorkCover Queensland, the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), injury insurance schemes, and private health insurance.

Dean has a particular professional interest in Functional Neurological Disorders (FNDs), complex conditions, and clients navigating multiple diagnoses.   He invests time into understanding the interaction between neurological symptoms, trauma histories, stress responses, and broader psychosocial factors, recognising that these conditions often affect many areas of a person’s life.   He values working alongside medical teams, allied health professionals, and support networks to ensure clients receive coordinated, person-centred care.

Outside the therapy room, Dean enjoys photography, spending time in nature, and exploring food from around the world.   These interests help him stay grounded, creative, and connected to the richness of human experience—values he brings into his therapeutic work.
