Can I claim my appointment on Medicare?

You sure can! You’ll need to see your GP to get a referral, and through this you are eligible for a number of sessions with a psychologist which are subsidised by Medicare. Even with a plan, there will still have an out of pocket amount to pay.

Can I just use my private health insurance instead?

Absolutely you can! You should check that your private health insurance covers your session with a psychologist, and if they do we can process your claim on the spot during payment.

What if I can’t make a planned appointment?

That’s absolutely fine - things happen! We do have a cancellation policy which states that cancellations with 24 hours (or less) notice will incur a full fee charge.

Do you have a waitlist?

No. We've deliberately built our practice so that when you're ready to start, you don't have to wait weeks or months to be seen. This isn't a limited-time offer or an unusual gap in demand. It's simply how we've chosen to run things, because we believe support should be available when you need it, not months later.
