Karthick is a Generally Registered Psychologist registered with AHPRA.   His approach is client-centered, collaborative, and tailored to each individual’s unique experiences.   He integrates Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Conversational Model, and Time-Limited Dynamic Psychotherapy (TLDP) to support clients in developing emotional resilience and self-understanding.   Karthick welcomes clients aged 6 and above.   

With clinical experience in private practice and university counselling settings, he has worked with individuals managing anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and neurodivergence (e.g., Autism, ADHD).   Karthick also has a strong research background, contributing to studies on anxiety in Parkinson’s disease, virtual reality-assisted psychotherapy, and neurocognitive disorders.   His research interests reflect a commitment to innovative therapeutic approaches that enhance well-being and promote meaningful change.

Before transitioning into psychology, he worked extensively in large-scale infrastructure and industrial projects, managing teams and navigating high-pressure environments.   This background has given him a deep understanding of workplace stress, burnout, and systemic influences on mental health.
